Yumify and Security

To enable any of the security features, navigate to your Yumify account, and enable 2FA, then proceed with the prompts.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
With 2FA, the user is confident if another person tries to access their account, they will be notified via the contact information provided, or an OTP is sent to confirm authenticity to proceed.
Yumify has implemented 2FA on very sensitive applications like Y-Pay and Yumify, but the user has the liberty to activate it on whichever of the Yumify applications.
Security Tokens
With security tokens, every login generates a unique security that is runs across your account for verification. This token expires immediately the it receives no disparity, but blocks the login once it notices something unusual and notifies the user.
The security tokens are produced consecutively up to a maximum of 4 login attempts, and after a failed 5th attempt, the process expires to be reset after a specified amount of time, currently set to one minute (1 min). This is however terminated when on the attempt fails on the 6th trial.
Authenticator App
- Here, you enter the authentication key from the Yumify App to your account, and any time there is a login, this key is checked and compared to what was provided to authorize. Any disparity leads to blockage and a notification is sent accordingly.
Measures
- We take serious measures to ensure we protect your account. If for any reason you are unable login to your account, kindly reach out and we will enable you access your account seamlessly.
